If you have ever wondered how to base line a cake tin, I will show you how. It is so simple and will prevent the cake sticking to the bottom of the cake tin. Begin by removing the base from the tin, then place it on some greaseproof paper and draw around the tin base. Then cut out the circle and put the base back into the tin. Then, using a pastry brush and some margarine or butter grease the sides and base of the tin. Finally, place your circle of greaseproof paper onto the greased base and press down gently.
